Our mission
The mission of Make a Million Meals (MMM) is to raise money to help provide food for those who are unable to feed themselves. According to the 2024 State of Food Security and Nutrition in the World report, 733 million people globally are facing hunger. At MMM, we are addressing this through writing and selling books. In the United States alone, more than 700 million books are sold each year. We believe that by tapping into the love and energy that is spent in writing, publishing, and buying books, we can raise the funds to provide one million meals this year and many millions of meals in the years to come. February 2025
The Make A Million Meals website goes live. We announce our mission and first project to help achieve our goal - provide a million meals by the end of 2025.
January 2025
Initial meeting to learn about trademarks and copyrights to protect authors and their work.
August 2024
After calculation the cost of publishing our books, we determined that we will commit 30 % of net proceeds from book sales will be committed to helping the hungry.
